Colvin Run Networks

Tom Houman is Vice President of Technology at Colvin Run Networks, where he leads the engineering team delivering FALCON and the company's other government research programs. He brings more than 20 years of engineering experience across defense and commercial systems. At SRC, he led development of a distributed, real-time Kalman filter fusion tracking system fielded across multiple radar product lines, the same class of sensor-fusion technology at the core of FALCON's navigation filter. His earlier defense work includes embedded software for the Navy's AN/SQQ-89 program at Lockheed Martin and radar prototypes that won Army production contracts. He has also built large-scale distributed systems in industry and contributed to open distributed-systems standards through the Linux Foundation. He holds seven patents spanning target tracking, scalable distributed systems, and multiparty communications, along with an M.S. in Software Engineering from Drexel University.
