Tansey Moore is the Tribal Working Groups Specialist with NCSL’s Environment, Energy and Transportation Program. She leads the Nuclear Energy Tribal Working Group, which consists of 12 members tribes across the U.S. Moore has approximately 15 years of experience working with states, federal agencies and tribal governments. She is a member of the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony located in northern Nevada. Moore has spent most of her career in environmental protection and has project management skills in a variety of areas such as renewable energy, climate adaptation and cultural resources. She earned her bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Fort Lewis College and a Masters of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
