Matt Young currently serves as the Distributed Fueling and Logistics Team Lead and Deputy Program Manager for the Operational Logistics (OPLOG) Integration R&D Team at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division in Bethesda, MD. In this role, Matt leads cross organizational teams developing capabilities to support Logistics Command and Control, Contested Logistics capabilities for at-sea and over-the-shore refueling, and the use of Operational Energy and Logistics data in decision making and to support Energy Supportability Analyses (ESAs) and Energy Key Performance Parameter (eKPP) development for acquisition programs to ensure new platforms are logistically supportable.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, PA where he also played NCAA Division I soccer, and a Refuel Logistics Graduate Certificate from the Naval Postgraduate School.
