Mr. Peter F. McCauley is the Technical Warrant Holder (TWH) for Machinery Integration in Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEASYSCOM). He is responsible for energy conservation, energy demand reduction, and operational energy data.
Mr. McCauley has 13 years of Federal civilian service that has ranged from force structure analysis, test and evaluation, to ship acquisition. He has stood of the Energy Wide Energy Visibility team to integration energy supportability analysis, energy data collection and monitoring, energy demand reduction, and energy reporting.
Mr. McCauley received his bachelors of engineering in Naval Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken NJ., and masters of Systems Engineering Management from Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey CA. During his federal career, Mr. McCauley has received the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award from the Secretary of the Navy for his work on the Small Surface Combatant Task Force, the NAVSEA Warfare Center Collaboration Award for his work on the Future Surface Combatant Project, and the SNAME Francis T. Bowles Medal for notable early career achievement.
Mr. McCauley is a member of the American Society of Naval Engineers where he has served as the associate editor for energy and environmental systems since 2020.
