Ryan Burg is a manager and senior researcher focusing on resilience at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. His group is engaged in all-hazards resilience analysis for facilities, grid operators, and the wider public. Prior to NREL, Ryan led the climate adaptation initiative at ComEd and managed a team that organized community partnerships for grid innovation. Ryan holds a joint-PhD in business ethics and sociology from Wharton. In his academic career, he taught ESG courses at Wharton, Georgetown, HSE Moscow, and Bucknell and published a book on supply chain responsibility with Cambridge University Press.
