Scott Dockum serves as a Program Manager with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SBIR Program, bringing extensive expertise in Federal Research and Development. Throughout his career in public service, Scott has held key leadership roles, including acting Deputy Chief Administrative Officer at the Economic Development Agency (EDA) and Group Manager for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program. His deep background in small business innovation is highlighted by his tenure as Program Manager for the USDA SBIR program and as a Program Specialist and senior policy advisor for NASA’s SBIR Program. Additionally, Scott managed policy programs for the EPA’s Chief Financial Officer and spent 13 years in the private sector specializing in technology innovation and transfer under DOD Programs and contracts.
