Mr. J.R. Myers is the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Project Manager at the Defense Health Agency (DHA). He is responsible for managing the DHA SBIR and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs. With an annual budget of ~$65.5M, Mr. Myers advises DHA leadership on SBIR/STTR related policies, practices, directives, and activities. He and his staff are responsible for managing topic generation, proposal submissions, evaluations, debriefings, and tracking contract awards.
Prior to his work at DHA, Mr. Myers worked at the U.S. Army SBIR Program Management Office as a Program Analyst responsible for the Chemical and Biological Defense SBIR Program.
Mr. Myers is Level III Certified in Program Management from the Defense Acquisition University, and is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps.
