Jason Calvert is an Aerospace Engineer with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC), bringing over 20 years of leadership in the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program. Serving as the Army SBIR Program Coordinator for the USASMDC Technical Center, he directs the strategic execution and transition of next-generation technology portfolios.
In addition to his Army responsibilities, Mr. Calvert provides interagency technical management for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), overseeing advanced SBIR projects and serving as a subject matter expert in propulsion systems and technologies, energetics, and insensitive munitions. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama Huntsville.
