Sameer Kulkarni

Modeling and Simulation Post-Doctoral Researcher

Idaho National Laboratory

Sameer Kulkarni is a modelling and simulation post-doctoral researcher at the Idaho National Lab. He has experience with modelling supply chains of critical materials such as gallium/germanium and platinum group metals. Further, he has experience with integrating large language models to perform roadmapping analysis such as identifying gaps from academic literature for high-performance materials or identifying relevant literature for bio-energy/bio-fuels. He also has experience doing life cycle assessments (LCA) and techno-economic assessments (TEA) for technologies related to critical materials. He graduated with his PhD from Purdue in 2024 where the focus of his thesis was on life cycle assessments of emerging technologies.
