Kate Fritz

Kate Fritz is the Operations Manager for NIH’s Small Business Education and Entrepreneurial Development (SEED) office, where she helps advance efforts to support life science innovators and small businesses. She works across NIH and with the broader entrepreneurial community to bring people, programs, and priorities together in support of biomedical innovation. Her work combines strategic planning, program management, communications, and stakeholder engagement, with a particular focus on developing product development resources and programs for innovators at all stages, from academics to seasoned entrepreneurs. Kate has been with NIH’s Office of Extramural Research since 2017 and holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Maryland.
