
Andrew Magliochetti serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for the Defense Industrial Base. In this role, Mr. Magliochetti is the principal civilian advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition, overseeing the strategic integration, health, and expansion of the Department’s industrial supply chain to support naval readiness and modernization.
Mr. Magliochetti is charged with driving the revitalization of the maritime industrial base, fostering supply chain resilience, and accelerating the transition of innovative technologies from the private sector to the Fleet. He leads initiatives to expand the domestic manufacturing ecosystem, mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities, and integrate dual-use commercial technologies to enhance the lethality of the Navy-Marine Corps team.
He previously served as the Director of the Navy’s Office of Small Business Programs and has 25 years of private sector experience in structured finance, investment banking, and private equity. In his most recent private sector role, Mr. Magliochetti was the co-founder and managing partner of a venture capital firm focused on national security technologies.
Mr. Magliochetti holds an MS in Finance from Penn State University, an MS in Data Science from Northwestern University, an MPS in Homeland Security from Penn State University, and a BA in Economics from Ohio University.
