Ms. Robin Burke serves as the Program Manager for the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Her career supporting the defense industry spans nearly three decades, giving her a unique perspective from both the private and public sectors.
Before becoming a Government Civilian, Ms. Burke spent the majority of her career with startup, small, and large defense contractors. In the private sector, she successfully managed a portfolio of Department of War (DoW) contracts valued at over $100 million, leading teams of more than 200 employees. Her program leadership supported critical missions for Naval Special Warfare (NSW), Marine Corps Intelligence (MC INTEL), and the Navy, including in-country support during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
Her expertise includes Program Management, Project Management, Systems Engineering, Contracts, and Business Development. Ms. Burke holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication from the Mercer University School of Engineering.
