Jeremy Jones is a Critical Infrastructure Security Analyst for the Idaho National Lab. At INL, Jeremy focuses on research and development targeted to securing the nation’s critical infrastructure, primarily power grid technologies. Jeremy’s career focus has been on validation and verification (V&V) and test and evaluation (T&E) capabilities for emerging power grid technologies and more recently has focused on cybersecurity and cyber-informed engineering approaches to securing emerging grid supporting technologies such as battery energy storage systems and generative AI technologies for monitoring, management, and control of energy systems. Prior to joining INL, Jeremy was a staff researcher at the Information Trust Institute at the University of Illinois. There, Jeremy led the development of multiple large-scale, mixed fidelity control systems testbeds which continue to support research and T&E efforts today.
