Sohom Datta is a Senior Power Systems Research Engineer in the Electricity Infrastructure and Buildings Division at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). At PNNL, Sohom is involved with several Department of Energy projects for grid resiliency including the HydroWires Initiative, Advanced Grid Modeling (AGM), and the ARPA-e program. His research interest includes power system modeling and simulation for grid resiliency under extreme weather events in the future, renewable integration, energy market analytics, and net zero grid. He has several years of experience working in the industry as a power systems consultant and energy market specialist at Siemens and California Independent System Operator
