J. Kyle Skolfield is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. His research centers on optimizing critical infrastructure planning for resilience, especially expansion of the bulk electric grid. He develops flexible tools to address key emerging questions for operational and investment decision-making under uncertainty. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, an M.A. in Mathematics from Indiana

University, and a B.A. in Mathematics from Swarthmore College.
