
Nicole D. Jackson is a Principal Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. Her research centers on the resilience of critical infrastructure to extreme weather events and
natural hazards, focusing on the electric grid, renewable energy generation, water resources, and food systems. By employing a multidisciplinary approach, Nicole develops data-driven
frameworks that yield actionable insights to strengthen infrastructure resilience and inform operational decision-making. She holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, an M.S. in Materials
Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an M.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech.
