
Kris Lutt
serves as Vice President, Innovation & Growth at Archer Daniels Midland
(ADM). He is responsible for advancing the company's growth agenda,
including oversight of ADM Ventures, with a focus on accelerating innovation,
driving new product development and commercialization, and scaling high-impact
growth opportunities. He also serves as President, Sustainable Materials
and Strategic Initiatives within the Carbohydrate Solutions business unit,
leading ADM's BioSolutions strategy, precision fermentation, decarbonization,
and strategic business development initiatives across the Carbohydrate
Solutions portfolio. Lutt joined ADM in 2002 and has held a range of
leadership roles across the organization. He most recently served as
President of Sweetening & Texturizing Solutions, where he led commercial
activities across ADM's sweetener, starch, and acidulant businesses in the food
space. He previously served as President of Golden Peanut and Tree Nuts,
president of ADM's Milling business, and advisor to the Office of the
Chairman. Within ADM's Corn business, he held roles including General
Manager, Specialty Feed Ingredients, and Vice President, Corn Processing.
Lutt holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Nebraska and
an MBA from Illinois State University. He serves on the board of
directors of the Corn Refiners Association, Redstar Yeast Company, and the
Community Foundation of Macon County and is an Illinois State University
Trustee.
