He is the principal investigator of Capra's HHS/IBMSC-funded CoMPASS project focused on building an AI-enabled pipeline to rapidly develop and scale the manufacture of biologically-derived small molecule APIs.  Previously, Dr. Magyar was a Principal Scientist at Draper, where he led over $30 million in programs spanning biotechnology, advanced instrumentation and integrated systems. Dr. Magyar received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed his postdoctoral research at Harvard University. He currently serves on the Safety and Security Committee for BioMADE, a Manufacturing Innovation Institute sponsored by the US Government.
