Dale Grogan has served as Managing Partner of Michigan Capital Network (MCN) since 2020, where he leads early-stage investing across the firm's three core sectors - advanced manufacturing and materials, life sciences, and software. He brings more than 35 years of experience as an entrepreneur, investor, and investment banker, having raised more than $150 million for startups and venture funds and founded and operated multiple businesses.
Advanced manufacturing and hard tech are a particular focus of his investing. Over his career Dale has managed three venture funds and 13 SPEs, deploying approximately $40 million into early-stage companies, and he has served on the Michigan Pre-Seed Fund Investment Review Board since 2009. With deep regional roots and a track record of guiding early-stage technologies to market, he brings a seasoned investor-operator perspective to evaluating emerging innovation.
