Doug Goodman supports the NASA Small Business Innovation and Research (SBIR)/Small Business Tech Transfer (STTR) Office. He coordinates and conducts outreach to small business concerns and research institutions, focusing on small business start-ups and Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs). He has engaged the public sector through SBIR Road Tours, conferences, and visits to MSIs. He also develops technology success stories for public release. Mr. Goodman has worked for NASA as a contractor since 1999 and is employed by BryceTech. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997 and obtained his Master of Arts degree in Technical Writing from Northern Illinois University in 1999. He was awarded a Silver Snoopy in 2012 from NASA for work in archiving Engineering Directorate Shuttle Program records and is the recipient of a NASA Silver Achievement Medal.
