
Cheri Caddy has held senior national security technical and policy roles in the U.S. Government over the past 30 years. She served as Deputy Assistant National Cyber Director for Technology and Research in the Office of the National Cyber Director at the White House. At ONCD she was the executive technical lead for development and implementation of the 2023 National Cybersecurity Strategy and a principal contributor to the 2023 National Standards Strategy for Critical and Emerging Technology.
Ms. Caddy also recently served as Senior Technical Advisor for Cybersecurity at the Department of Energy where she managed a portfolio of $60M in cyber-related R&D across the National Laboratories, coordinated cyber R&D across the department, and represented DOE at the National Science and Technology Council.
Ms. Caddy’s other senior technical and policy roles have included: Executive Director of Enduring Security Framework at NSA, Director for Cybersecurity at the National Security Council, and Senior Cyber Policy Advisor at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. She has degrees from University of Virginia, American University, and Norwich University Military College of Vermont, and has been a Senior Cybersecurity Fellow at the McCrary Institute for Cybersecurity & Critical Infrastructure at Auburn University since 2017.
