Faris Fakhry is an investor at Lowercarbon Capital, where he helps drive the firm's fusion strategy, investing across next-generation fusion developers and the broader supply chain. Previously, he worked with the Office of Eric Schmidt on fusion supply chain development and financing, advised multiple venture funds and family offices on fusion and fission investments, and chaired MIT's Advanced Nuclear Fuel Cycle Working Group. While at MIT, Faris co-founded and spun out Irradia Solutions, a company developing materials and fuels testing platforms for advanced fission and naval reactors. Faris holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Nuclear Science and Engineering from MIT, where he developed deep learning neutronics surrogates to accelerate advanced reactor design.
