Dr. James Kilbride is an Engineering Fellow and Director of the Augmented Reality area of General Dynamics Mission Systems. In this role, he leads the strategy and execution of programs supporting Intelligence and DoD customers leveraging Augmented Reality Technologies, and manages the R&D investment to develop new AR solutions for DoD and IC customers.

As a thought leader, Dr. Kilbride provides subject matter expertise in areas such as cloud, big data, analytics, open architecture, high performance computing and augmented/virtual reality. Since joining General Dynamics in 2005, Dr. Kilbride continues to lean forward and bring relevant and innovative solutions that help our customers rapidly respond to their evolving mission operational needs. Prior to leading the Augmented Reality space, Dr. Kilbride was the Business Area Director for Analytic and Computing Programs area, and prior to that he was the Cyber Systems LoB as the Director of Technology.

Dr. Kilbride holds bachelor, masters and doctoral degrees in computer science, and in 2011 he received his master’s degree in business administration, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
