Josh McClellan serves as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Additive & Complex Manufacturing at Northrop Grumman Missions Systems in Baltimore, Maryland. Josh graduated as part of the Class of 2006 from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he served in the United States Marine Corp for 3 deployments to Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from 2010 – 2014. Josh planned multiple, multi-national, large scale combat operations all meeting mission success criteria. He gained engineering experience while managing the complex systems of the UH-1Y to include operation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and quality assurance. After the USMC, Josh joined Textron Systems building the RQ-7B Shadow UAV gaining additional experience in systems integration, composites, CNC milling, and mechanical assembly. At Northrop Grumman, Josh leads the Additive Manufacturing Discriminator effort with focus in aluminum and polymer Additive Manufacturing.
