Liz Weber is a program manager and analyst for the Resilient Systems Design and Engineering Group. She partners with project leaders to manage research programs and studies related to natural gas and the U.S. electricity sector, energy storage, and other power sector issues. Her primary responsibilities include planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and financial analysis.

Weber joined NREL in 2018 as a program manager for the Joint Institute for Strategic Energy Analysis (JISEA). Currently, Weber is also the lead for the U.S. Department of Energy's Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs, State Energy Programs, and Partnerships and Technical Assistance program under NREL's State, Local, and Tribal Governments program. In addition, she contributes research and analysis to the Tribal Solar Initiative that helps to address barriers to deploying solar on tribal land, conducts resilience assessments, and provides project management for a portfolio of projects focused on potential disruptions from natural and human sources across all elements of energy systems.
