Sonny has been with RTX Ventures since early 2019 focusing on ventures, industry partnerships & university research relations at corporate. Prior to then he was head of capital investment, North America for the UK government. Additionally he spent four years as managing director of venture capital for a large angel group where he managed investment, and assumed board and interim operating roles. Previous to then he was a senior research analyst on the buy-side investing for BMO (Bank of Montreal) for five years. Additionally, he was an entrepreneur for seven years in defense and commercial avionics. He began his career as a machine learning avionics engineer for Honeywell in 1997 for four years.
