Mr. Bayless is the lead cyber systems engineer for Utility and Critical Infrastructure programs at Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), a high-tech electronics, engineering, and manufacturing corporation. Mr. Bayless has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and 17 years of experience in the Utility market designing and implementing digital upgrades for nuclear generating stations and working as a cybersecurity specialist. Mr. Bayless is extremely familiar with cybersecurity regulations and what controls need to be put in place to meet them.
In his role at SNC, Mr. Bayless is responsible for all Binary Armor® Utility SCADA and Operational Technology applications. Mr. Bayless also leads the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) partnership to implement their patent-pending Constrained Communication Cyber Device (C3D) onto SNC's Binary Armor platform, bringing industry leading in-line security to serial devices.
