Tayyaba Feroze is the team lead for the Biological Subject Matter Expert group for OI-OAO at DTRA. She completed her Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Fellowship with the National Defense University (NDU) and has a Master of Science in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases from George Mason University. Prior to joining DTRA Tayyaba worked as an infectious disease analyst at the National Center for Medical Center (NCMI) where she worked closely with the various CCMDs on force health protection.. Prior to joining NCMI she worked at Quest Diagnostics as a scientist for 3 years developing Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) clinical assays detecting novel cancer mutations and biomarkers. Ms. Feroze uses her knowledge and expertise in infectious diseases and biological weapons to provide analytical support to his DTRA customers, including senior leadership, in the form of written products, briefings, trainings, special projects, and exercise support.
