HF-free facile and rapid synthesis of MXenes related materials and their efficient energy conversion and storage applications

TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

Two-dimensional transition metal carbides and nitrides (MXenes) possess widespread applications in energy storage and biochemistry, because of their high hydrophilic surface and conductivity. Here, we first reported a novel synthesis route to synthesize MXene without using hazardous hydrofluoric acid and demonstrated the versatile application of the HF-free MXene.
