High Throughput Manufacturing of Highly Oriented Post-drawn Polymer Nanofibers by Centrifugal Trackspinning

TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

For industrial applications, polymeric nanofibers need to be fabricated on a per-pound basis. Herein, we implemented a novel centrifugal trackspinning technology that fabricates, collects, and post-draws highly aligned mechanically enhanced polymer nanofibers in a large-scale and low-cost fashion.
