Micro Scalable Thrusters for Adaptive Mission Profiles in Space (µSTAMPS)

TECHNOLOGY SUMMARY

µSTAMPS is an electric micro-propulsion solution for Cubesats. The propellants are low melting temperature liquid salts (Ionic Liquids). The novel and proprietary design is robust and monolithic, optimized using computational methods, and easy to fabricate. It presents precise, ultrasharp, and consistent geometries that favor efficient operation and modest operating voltages.
