Medical CBRN Defense Consortium (MCDC)

The Medical CBRN Defense Consortium (MCDC) is a well-established community of industry, academia, and government focused on rapid prototyping and maturing medical countermeasures to prevent, detect and treat exposure to CBRN threats. Through an Other Transaction Agreement with the JPEO-CBRND (Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense), the MCDC is developing life-saving medical pharmaceutical, diagnostics and therapeutics to safe-guard and enhance the mission effectiveness of our soldiers.

The MCDC scope spans development of medical countermeasure prototypes to include vaccines (COVID-19, Marburg, Ebola, VEE, VEEV, Botulinum, etc.), therapeutics (COVID-19, SNAPP, small molecule antivirals, OPNAs, Smallpox, MDR Bacterial bio threat pathogens, Tularemia, etc.), detection/diagnostics (Meliodiosis, Plague, CRISPR-based, man-portable diagnostics systems, antibody platforms, etc.), autoinjectors (Scopolamine, Naloxone, Diazepam, etc.) and other needs.

Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC)

The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) is a internationally-dispersed consortium with members from industry, academia and the nonprofit sector that aims to be the partner of choice for private industry, academic institutions, government agencies, and other research organizations seeking to accelerate the development of medical solutions that prevent and treat injuries and restore America's military and veterans to full health.

It is a 501(c)(3) biomedical technology consortium collaborating with multiple government agencies under an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC). MTEC represents a first-of-its-kind construct that combines the "traditional" government-funded prototype project work with the ability to raise and execute private sector funding.

In partnership with the Department of Defense and private support, MTEC is working to prevent injuries and accelerate the development of revolutionary medical solutions. Ultimately, all citizens will benefit from these technologies and healthcare solutions.

Resilience Infrastructure and Secure Energy (RISE) Consortium

The mission of the Resilient Infrastructure + Secure Energy (RISE) Consortiumâ„¢ is to address the energy security and climate crises by reimagining how we use, generate, transport, and store energy and how we build efficient, modern, resilient infrastructure.
