Caroline Adiels

Researcher
University of Gothenburg, Denmark

Caroline Beck Adiels has a PhD from Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg (Sweden), and is the acting group leader of Biological Physics Lab at the Department of Physics, University of Gothenburg. The main focus of the research group is organ-on-chip development, single-cell analysis and characterization using microfluidics combined with optical tweezers and different spectroscopy setups. Recently, image analysis using machine learning has become an important and useful tool. International collaborations covering a broad mix of theoretical and experimental physics to medicine, Venture Cup participation, and engagement in multiple outreach activities, summarizes her research as interdisciplinary versatile with an entrepreneurial touch.
