Sophia Zackrisson, MD , PhD is Professor of Radiology at Lund University and Senior Consultant Radiologist at Skåne University Hospital Malmö, Sweden. Her main research focus is oncological imaging and screening, with special focus on breast, colorectal and prostate imaging. The Lund University breast Cancer Imaging group, LUCI, is currently investigating many aspects of future screening and diagnostic methods for breast cancer including applications of artificial intelligence, mechanical and molecular imaging. Zackrisson was appointed “Cancer Researcher of the Year” in January, 2020 by the Swedish Cancer Society.
