Linda Höglund has been working in the field of infrared detectors since 2001 and is an expert on quantum structure-based infrared photodetectors, modelling and characterization of detectors and detector materials. After receiving her MSc in Physics and Electrical engineering at Linköping University, Sweden, she started to work on quantum well based bolometers at RISE (Sweden) in 2001 and during her PhD (2004-2008) she focused on Quantum Dot Infrared Photodetectors. In 2009 she landed a job in the Infrared Photonics Group at Jet Propulsion Lab (NASA), where she was leading the optical characterization of type-II superlattice detectors. She joined IRnova in 2015 and is now the R&D manager at IRnova. Since 2015 she has been leading several R&D projects for development of QWIP and T2SL detectors, for development of LWIR/VLWIR detectors, HOT MWIR detectors, eSWIR detectors, dual band detectors and polarization sensitive detectors.
