Scott Crawford

Scott Crawford is a Technical Fellow at Collins Aerospace and is currently the Technical Director for the Trusted Mission Processing organization, where he directs the development of the Common Open Secure Mission Computer (COSMC) product family. He has over 34 years of experience developing embedded systems, including 20 years of fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft system design with Collins Aerospace and Raytheon. He also designed electric vehicles for General Motors and served in the U.S. Navy for a combined 21 years of active and reserve duty as an Engineering Duty Officer. Scott is also currently a part-time lecturer for graduate-level systems engineering courses at Johns Hopkins University.

An Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), Scott holds a master’s degree in systems engineering from Johns Hopkins University, a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Central Florida, and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Virginia Tech.
