Tyler Smith is a Principal Scientist at Galois Inc. Mr. Smith leads development and sustainment of model-based engineering tools, including the Curated Access to Model-based Engineering Tools (CAMET) Library. Mr. Smith had led a variety of efforts supporting digital engineering activities across the Department of Defense (DoD) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), focused primarily on application of formal methods and rigorous engineering practices to digital engineering. Mr. Smith led a recent Authoritative Source of Truth (ASoT) study for the U.S. Army and is helping lead development of open digital engineering demonstration platforms for the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Smith is co-chair of the Architecture Collaboration Working Group (ACWG) Digital Engineering SubGroup (DESG).
