Alicia Taylor is the Program Director for The Open Group FACE® Consortium, overseeing strategic development and comprehensive program management. Prior to this role, she spent 6.5 years as a contractor supporting the U.S. Army PEO Aviation, where she managed special projects, tracked budgets and tasks, coordinated the Army FACE & SOSA TIM and Expo, and provided expertise to the FACE and SOSA Consortia Business Working Groups. In her most recent work at PEO Aviation, she contributed to digital engineering and model-based systems engineering initiatives, influencing policy and procedural enhancements and optimizing SharePoint site management.
Before transitioning to the defense sector in 2015, Alicia dedicated 26 years to higher education, serving as a mathematics professor, department chair, dean, and vice president. She holds a doctorate in Instructional Leadership.
