Mr. Matt Sipe is the Vice President, Strategy, Open Systems at Parry Labs, where he is responsible for helping to leverage and expand Parry Labs' capabilities and establish a MOSA roadmap across multiple customers to extend solutions while increasing affordability for the government and decreasing the time to field innovative solutions.
Prior to his current role at Parry Labs, he held the position of APEO for Engineering and Architecture, concurrently serving as the Chief Engineer for Army Aviation. In that capacity, Sipe shouldered the crucial responsibility of ensuring technical excellence across the PEO, spearheading the implementation of Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), harnessing the power of Digital Engineering, and fostering a highly proficient acquisition engineering workforce.
As the Director of MOSA Transformation for PEO Aviation, he orchestrated the development and execution of an integrated Modular Open Systems Approach across the enterprise, a strategic initiative designed to enhance lifecycle management, affordability, and position PEO Aviation for a forward-looking future. Sipe served as the Chief of the Technical Management Division for the Aviation Turbine Engines Project Office as well as the Systems Engineering Branch Chief for the ITE and Future Vertical Lift (FVL) Project Office.
Sipe’s military service includes a tenure in the United States Air Force, where he served as an active-duty officer, guiding program management and engineering expert to the Special Operations C-130 Program Office. He holds a master's degree in management and leadership from Webster University, a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in theology from Life Christian University.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Matt enjoys family life and living an active healthy lifestyle and serves as the President of POC Ministries, a non-profit Men’s Ministry.
