Mr. LeGrand is assigned to the Program Executive office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S), Integration Directorate, as the Lead for the Open Architecture and Standards (OA&S) Team. He serves as a technical subject matter expert supporting the Program Executive Officer with a focus on interoperability, standards, and open systems architecture. As the lead for the OA&S team, he manages the ongoing development and proliferation of the Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA) throughout PEO IEW&S and with external customers to include other PEOs/JPEOs, other DoD Services, and Coalition Partners. He also has responsibility for monitoring, tracking, and enforcing MOSA implementation practices across the PMs within PEO IEW&S.
Mr. LeGrand has previously served as a project engineer and ballistics subject matter expert within PEO Soldier, supporting the planning and managing of science and technology (S&T), development, and ballistic production efforts. He has executed projects through successful integration of multidisciplinary efforts that cross the spectrum of materials science, human factors, engineering, textiles, and signature management technologies.
Mr. LeGrand is Level III certified in Engineering & Technical Management and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
