Kevin Richardson

A Software Systems Engineer with more than three decades of experience (2+ supporting DoD activities). Kevin has participated in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. Early in his career he was a developer working across domains including embedded systems, distributed systems, software tools, and fault management systems. He was very involved in the development of the Software Communications Architecture (SCA) and its associated standards as he performed roles such as the SCA Lead Architect, JTNC Application Programming Interface developer, and Technical Lead for the JPEO JTRS Government Technical Advisory Board. Kevin also provided technical analysis and oversight to the development of multiple SCA compliant services and Waveform Applications. Over his career Kevin has conducted several SCA training events and has authored or co-authored multiple papers and articles exploring features or aspects of the framework or its associated products. Lastly, Kevin consulted with the JTNC V&V organization during the development of the SCA 2.2.2 and 4.1 Compliance Test tool.

Kevin has a long history of participation in open architecture initiatives and during his career he has worked to develop products for the Wireless Innovation Forum, Object Management Group, and International Telecommunications Union as well as several other Government and Industry forums and consortia.
