Charles Patrick Collier is currently the Chair of the SOSA Conformance Standing Committee and the Vice Chair of the SOSA Technical Working Group. Patrick works as a Senior Systems Engineer with Aspen Consulting Group and a support contractor with U.S. Army DEVCOM C5ISR Center. Patrick is one of the original founders of SOSA which began during his tenure as a Senior Electrical Research Engineer at AFRL Space Vehicles Directorate. Patrick served as HOST Hardware Lead Engineer at NAVAIR PMA-209 after his service as AFRL. Patrick also worked as a Systems Engineer at L3Harris. Finally, Patrick is also a co-founder of the Next Generation Space Interconnect Standard (NGSIS) and the SpaceVPX VITA Standard (VITA 78). Patrick has a BA in Russian Studies from Boston University, a BS in Physics from University of North Carolina, and a MS in Electrical and Optical Engineering form NC A&T State.
