Syltinsy P. Taylor
NAVAIR PMA-209 Avionics Architecture Team (AAT)
Syltinsy "Syl" P. Taylor is the AAT Autonomy AI/ML and Standards Interoperability Lead for the NAVAIR PMA-209 Avionics Architecture Team. As a Senior Software Systems Engineer with ITZ, she brings over 20 years of software and computer engineering experience, having dedicated more than a decade to supporting Naval Aviation systems. Within the AAT, Syl leads alignment and integration efforts for MOSA standards, including AMS-GRA, OMS, FACE, and SOSA. She provides AAT support across multiple NAVAIR programs and serves as an advisor for the NAVAIR FACE Verification Authority. Additionally, Syl is a doctoral candidate in Computer Science at Bowie State University focusing on Trustworthy AI.
