Alvaro Soares is Director of Aviation Products and Customer Programs at TTTECH North America, where he leads the strategy, adoption, and ecosystem development of certifiable open modular digital backbone technologies for next-generation aerospace platforms. His work focuses on advancing Modular Open Systems Approaches (MOSA) through the deployment of technologies such as Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTE), and ARINC 664 Part 7 across military, commercial, and emerging aviation applications.
Since joining TTTECH in 2016, Alvaro has led customer engagements and business initiatives spanning Future Vertical Lift, fixed-wing defense platforms, Advanced Air Mobility, and Part 25 commercial aircraft programs. He has also held executive leadership positions across operations, product management, and global sales, helping organizations navigate the transition to increasingly connected, software-defined, and interoperable aerospace systems.
Prior to TTTECH, Alvaro worked at
GE Aerospace in advanced controls and Prognostics & Health Management,
supporting both military and commercial propulsion programs, including the
T901, F414, and GE9X. With nearly two decades of experience at the intersection
of aerospace systems, digital architectures, and product strategy, Alvaro
brings a unique perspective on accelerating innovation through open standards,
interoperability, and industry collaboration.
