Dr. Tom DuBois leads Engineering & Mission Assurance for Aether Aerospace. He is also a subject matter expert in systems engineering, avionics integration and digital engineering supporting the U.S. Army Capability Program Executive (CPE), Aviation. Tom has a long history in Modular Open Systems Approaches (MOSA) from his 31 years at The Boeing Company, 3 years at L3Harris, and 5 years at Aether Aero / U.S. Army. At Boeing, Tom was the Chief Architect for Rotorcraft and U.S. Army programs where he led MOSA demonstrations from 2014 to 2018. Tom was a Technical Fellow of The Boeing Company, holds five patents, and has published over 40 technical papers. He has made noteworthy technical contributions to the following programs: Chinook, Apache, Osprey, Comanche, various UAS programs, Defiant, and numerous Contracted and Independent Research and Development programs.
Dr. DuBois has a PhD in Electrical & Computer
Engineering (Villanova University), a Masters in Computer Science Engineering
(University of Pennsylvania), and a Bachelors in Mathematics & Computer
Science (St. Joseph’s University).
