Ross Robertson is a Research Engineer II at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, serving as a Model-Based Systems Engineer in the Defense Systems Architecture Analysis branch. His research focuses on System of Systems design optimization through Digital Engineering and Model-Based Acquisition methodologies.
In his current role, Mr. Robertson supports multiple Department of War (DoW) programs in making informed Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) implementation decisions and streamlining the integration of open standards through Digital Engineering. As an active member of the Object Management Group (OMG) Model-Based Acquisition User Group, he develops tools and frameworks that help acquisition programs effectively integrate MOSA.
Mr. Robertson holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from
Mississippi State University and an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the
Georgia Institute of Technology.
