Kelly Meredith is an Associate Fellow and Software Architect for Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) in Owego with 25 years’ experience focusing on software, avionics, and open systems. She champions adoption and understanding of open systems across LM via co-creation of a Community of Practice for Modular Open System Approach (MOSA) and Open System Approach (OSA). Previously, Kelly completed an assignment as the MOSA Technical Lead collaborating with the U.S. Army through MOSA Demonstrations to help them build an Open Systems playbook. She was also a primary researcher and author regarding OSA and Interfaces for NATO for the Next Generation Rotorcraft Capability (NGRC) studies. She is an active Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE®) and Sensor Open Systems Approach (SOSA®) Consortium member, currently serving as the FACE Conformance Test Suite (CTS) Working Group Co-Chair and LM’s Secondary Steering Committee representative. She received a BS in Computer Science from the State University New York at Buffalo and a Master’s in Computer Science from Binghamton University.
