Kent is Deputy Lead of the Technical Operations Group at Aptima, where he helps guide the company’s evolution from a research-focused small business to a scalable provider of modular, AI-enabled defense solutions. Drawing on a sociotechnical systems perspective, he works across engineering, operations, business development, and organizational processes to improve how the company develops, integrates, and delivers capabilities for government customers. His interests include applying the principles of MOSA, digital engineering, and AI to enable more agile organizations and acquisition outcomes. Kent’s academic background combines engineering and organizational behavior, providing a perspective on the human and organizational dimensions of technology adoption, Human-AI teaming, and enterprise workflows.
