
Mr. Booth serves as the Chief Architect for the MV-75, where he leads the platform’s Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) strategy. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring system modularity and openness, enabling the rapid integration of new capabilities, and ensuring stakeholders understand the MV-75 MOSA strategy.
Josh began his career at United Space Alliance, designing entry and landing trajectories for the Space Shuttle program and assisting in astronaut crew training. He later joined GE Aviation as a Systems Engineer, conducting verification testing on commercial flight management systems. Transitioning to defense consulting with JHNA (now Aether Aerospace), Josh applied Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to critical Army Aviation initiatives, including a Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) risk reduction project with the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI). He was also the Digital Backbone lead for the MV-75. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Josh resides in Huntsville, AL, with his wife, Shannon, and their two sons, Josiah and Asher.
