
Dr. Macam Dattathreya is a Senior Scientific Technical Manager within the US Army with a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and over 30 years of combined private and public sector experience. He holds Level III systems engineering, IBM Software Systems Architect, and CISSP certifications. Dr. Dattathreya serves as adjunct faculty also teaching software and computer engineering courses while mentoring engineers in software, model-based systems engineering, requirements engineering, and open-standard system architecture. His research spans software and network architecture, cybersecurity, software reliability, model-based systems engineering, open-standard architecture, and energy-saving strategies for ground vehicles, resulting in numerous peer-reviewed publications, US patents, and technical achievement awards. For three decades, he has provided critical engineering support for major Army ground vehicle acquisition programs in system software, hardware, cyber, open-standard architectures, and network technology integration.
