Caroline Michael is a Technical Director with more than 20 years of experience leading the development and integration of advanced technologies across the defense and automotive industries. She specializes in system architecture, software and hardware integration, digital engineering, and technology innovation, delivering complex, mission-critical solutions from concept through deployment. 

Her technical expertise includes lethality and survivability systems, sensor fusion, next-generation kill chain integration, system-of-systems engineering, digital engineering, and the implementation of Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) strategies. She has led the development of open, standards-based architectures that enable secure connectivity and interoperability across vehicle platforms, sensors, mission systems, and command-and-control networks. Her experience spans the integration of embedded vehicle networks, digital engineering environments, and digital twin technologies to deliver scalable, upgradeable, and vendor-agnostic solutions that accelerate capability delivery while reducing integration risk and lifecycle costs.  

Throughout her career, Caroline has successfully led high-impact programs focused on digital transformation, autonomous systems, vehicle integration, and data-driven engineering solutions. She has directed multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for delivering innovative technologies that improve operational performance, reduce development risk, and accelerate product delivery. Her leadership spans the full product development lifecycle, guiding organizations through complex technical challenges while aligning engineering execution with strategic business objectives.
